The
key product in the company’s portfolio
is the Cylinder Liner, Shriram Automotive
is the only cylinder liner company in
India having a national presence. The
product, the largest range in the Indian
after-market, is marketed through a nationwide
network of over 5,000 distributors, dealers
and engine overhauling workshops. Its
applications cover Tractors, Heavy Commercial
Vehicles, Light Commercial Vehicles, cars,
etc.
Marketed
under the well-known "USHA’ brand name,
these cylinder liners cover cylinder sleeves
and Air Cooled blocks and are used for
a wide range of applications like Deutz
and 4-Stroke Motor Cycles.
The
other constituents of the Shriram Automotive
portfolio include crankshafts, cylinder
heads, connecting rods, oil pumps, gaskets
and suspension parts. All these make Shriram
Automotive the only company in India to
offer such a wide range of parts for the
automotive industry.
Starting
out in 1989 with cylinder liners, the
company is today the largest Indian exporter
and an OEM supplier to Deutz in South
Africa and Argentina.
